  • Yes, there is parking available at the venue if you prefer to drive yourself. However, we recommend using the shuttles so you can enjoy the celebration freely.

  • We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible! October is a beautiful time in Sicily, and the best hotels in Ortigia book up quickly — especially around popular travel weekends. We suggest securing your stay no later than this summer.

  • Your presence is the greatest gift. We have no formal registry—truly, having you there means everything. For those who'd like to bring a card, there will be a place for them at the ceremony.

  • Children are absolutely welcome! We know this is a big trip with a lot of moving parts, and the last thing we want is for you to worry about finding a babysitter from across the world. Bring the little ones—just keep in mind the celebration will run late into the evening, so plan accordingly for bedtime!

  • No, US passport holders do not need a visa for stays under 90 days. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond your travel dates and has at least 2 blank pages.

  • ETIAS is a new EU travel authorization launching in late 2026. It's a quick online application that costs €7 and is required for US citizens traveling to any Schengen country including Italy. We recommend applying as soon as it becomes available at etias.com.

  • Entry requirements vary by country. If you are traveling on a non-US passport please check your individual country's visa requirements for Italy before booking your trip.

  • As soon as possible if it expires before January 2027 or has fewer than 2 blank pages. Passport renewals can take several weeks so don't leave it too late.
